   OMG! why you guys talking a tagalog language, and you don’t using a gloves, that the first procedure that your have follow. IMPORTANT ALWAYS WEAR A GLOVES ALL THE TIME.

   ok. this phlebotomist did 3 things incorrect. as i can see.
   1. cleaned the puncture sight the incorrect way. (thats how you get infections.)
   2. didint wear gloves. (infection also.)
   3. bend her arm after removing the needle. (thats how you get hematoma.)

   wtf. what country is that?!

   OMG sooooooooo many things were done incorrect here. She flicked the vein, no gloves, touched the area after sterilizing it, used a cotton boll, place the cotton ball on before taking out the needle, taped the cotton ball to the arm without checking to make sure it stopped bleeding, and bent the arm…
   wow if that was a test, she failed lol

   she touched the area she just used alcohol wipe on and made it unsterile by putting the needle there very filthy habit

    I was thinking the same thing. No personal protective equipment whatsoever—and she touched the needle with her bare hands! what viciousness!

    LOL this video made me remember why I do this now to change peoples minds but people like her don’t give us excellent Phlebo’s a Chance and a turnaciate should be on for 1 min… but you know its not right just don’t draw a Lactic with one LOL

    Soweakandpowerless – you cant get aids. You get HIV and then when the body can no longer fight infection you then get a diagnosis of AIDS.

    Turnakit ~1 minute and except your a dumbass, You Have To Wear Gloves!! Risking getting Hep, Aids ect…

    gloves wont save u from aids, you cannot catch aids from touching someones skin … if you have a cut on ur hand, or they have a cut, yes in that case u would wear gloves .. but if you’d get poke by the needle…. the glove aint gonna save ya

    the turnakit can be left on for 2 minutes … and gloves arent required in phlebotomy ..

    You know as a NRCPT every Phlebotomist has their own technique. It pisses me of whe people all they do is find the terrible and not the excellent. Practice does make perfect. And im sure all of you have done something incorrect when drawing blood.

    Im disappointed in this phlebotomist. She knows what she needs to do, but she does not have enough integrity to do things correctly for the patient.

    incorrect, u can not palpat the area after applying alcohol, n u cant leave the turnakit longer then 1 minute..
