YES on issue 2. This ad lies by omission. It fails to mention that the majority of nurses in Ohio? are employed by private hospitals which determine conscription levels. This means those nurses are not public employees, and the law does not change them.

How hard up do you have to be to make something that is so deceitful?

Since when were nurses public workers? All the hospitals I know of are privately operated and collective bargaining in the private sector is in no way affected by the passage or retention of SB 5. ? This clip is union propaganda at its worst.

@baritonebynight The vast majority, if not all, nurses aren’t public workers so these nurses would not be affected by a YES vote on Issue 2. If state and local governments may possibly remove union corruption from the employment process, there would be more teachers, officers, and firefighters which would reduce class size, reduce crime, and reduce response time? respectively. The fact ruins that state and local governments can no longer afford the lucrative compensation to no avail of in private sector

Nurses wont be affected by Issue 2 one way or the additional. Nurse conscription in all Ohio healthcare facilities? is governed by a 2008 bill passed and signed into law by then Gov. Ted Strickland HB 346. Google it and read it for yourselves. This ad is an out and out lie

A goal I would suggest for you, prior to voting, is to educate yourself on these professions, their responsibilities to the general public, their workloads now, their compensation/benefits, & consessions they have made over the? years while educating, providing educational supportive services, protecting/saving you & your family & friends’ lives, & ensuring communities are safe from encarcerated criminals, etc.

@staceybrackett1 Their? responsibilities and workloads are LESS than the same jobs in the private sector yet their compensation is MORE…MUCH MORE. While the rest of us have either seen wage freezes, wage cuts, reduced benefits, layoffs, or any combination of these unionized public employees have never had it better with double digit percentage raises, zero contribution health benefits and pensions, and for some double dipping. The taxpayers demand to have a seat at the negotiating table!!

@gumako This is just more proof that unions are using the same playbook they have for decades hoping that they can prey on those who do not educate themselves about the issues they vote on. Now that more people are apt more educated, more informed, and more engaged in where their full property taxes are going the? unions can only grab at straws as we the people remove them from the negotiating table and place ourselves back in the seat they’ve hijacked for decades.
